Meals During the Gathering

We will be offering a buffet lunch in the Clan Farquharson Tent during the Ballater Highland Games on Thursday, 14 August 2025. 

We will also have a formal dinner on Tuesday, 12 August 2025 at the Ballater Golf Club.  Drinks start at 6:45pm and the dinner will start at 7:30pm.   A pay bar will be available throughout the evening.

We are offering an adult menu that is 3 courses followed by tea/ coffee, inclusive of red / white wine on the table and a welcome drink of Prosecco.

Once you purchase a ticket, please send an email to clanfarquharsonuk@gmail.com and for each guest, please list the guest’s name and choose from the menu one starter, one main course and one dessert.  Please also advise if any guests have food allergies or intolerances.

Tomato and vegetable soup with crusty roll

Smoked mackerel with herb cream sauce

Wild boar pate with plum chutney

Course 2 Main Course
Roast beef
Or
Salmon with a lemon and dill sauce
Or
Falafel Salad

All of the above are served with potatoes and selection of seasonal vegetables

White Chocolate Cheesecake

Children may choose from a children’s menu- any two courses for £12.50 or three courses for £17.50
