While Clan Farquharson finds its origins in Scotland, various events in history, such as the Highland Clearances, led to the migration of numerous Clan Members across the globe. At the last global census in 2014, the Clan Farquharson diaspora (those registered with a family name historically linked to the Clan) had grown to over 5.6 Million people worldwide. Today, Clan Farquharson UK is complemented by a growing number of Clan Farquharson Societies in other countries of the world. These include the USA, Canada, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Jamaica, the country with the greatest prevalence of Farquharsons anywhere in the world!
